Team"work"...whew what an important responsibility as a learner leader!!

Every year it is highlighted for me the importance of teachers working together, not only to share ideas about instruction, but to brainstorm ideas for the unique needs of the students in their classroom.
The students who attend my classroom, participate in their core kindergarten classroom for the other half of their day. I have an opportunity to work alongside our curriculum director, numerous teachers, reading specialists and reading tutors who provide Tier 2 interventions to students in all elementary buildings in our district. The meetings I have with these professionals to discuss individual student needs and specific interventions helps to expand my thinking as well as solidify what I know to be true for early learners. I believe each week, one of them teaches me something new, that makes me better at what I do! Because what might seem OBVIOUS TO YOU, CAN BE AMAZING TO OTHERS.
until later~
